For those who enjoy walks like Ethan, Burnham Beeches in Farnham Common, which is 15 minutes from Chalfont St Peter, is a scenic woodland area which is known for its historic, gnarled beech trees that have stood for centuries.
One of Esther and Ethan’s favourite places for a sunset visit is Coombe Hill, which is the highest viewpoint in the Chiltern Hills and is a 20-minute drive from Old Amersham Town.
Bojangles Creative Cafe is a cutesy pottery studio and cafe perfect for being creative and creating your own mementoes.
Esther loves Bicester Village, which is a designer outlet shopping centre in the county of Oxfordshire and is the perfect place for shopping with discounts. It is a 50 minute train journey from Gerrards Cross Train Station or a 45 minute drive.
Some of our favourite dates have been spent at Everyman Cinema in Gerrards Cross, enjoying the cozy plush seating, great food, and the perfect mix of movies.
Beaconsfield Service Station, (Becky Servs) is located just off the M40 and is more than just a quick stop—it’s a destination. We’ve spent far too many days and evenings there with friends and our local church group featuring late-night McDonald’s trips.
