FAQ’s

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We kindly request that guests dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire for our wedding. While we love a casual look, we kindly ask you to leave your denim behind for this occasion and embrace the charm of something a bit more polished.

Are there any colours or styles you’d prefer me to wear?

Please feel free to express your personal style while keeping things polished and appropriate for a formal celebration! Just a small request: our lovely bridesmaids will be wearing dusty lilac, so we kindly ask our guests to avoid wearing this colour to ensure they stand out. Thank you for helping us make our special day even more beautiful!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

For the main meal, we will be serving a traditional hog roast served in buns with crackling, stuffing, sauce, potatoes and a selection of sides. If you cannot have pork due to dietary requirements, please make sure to specify in the RSVP or contact us so we can make sure to give you an alternative on the day.

In the evening, we will be serving pizza, specially made in their wood-fired pizza oven.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Absolutely! Our reception venue is prepared to accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies. Please let us know about any specific requirements in advance by noting them on your RSVP or by emailing us directly. We want to ensure every guest can enjoy the celebration comfortably!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Gold Hill Baptist Church (Ceremony)
Yes, parking is available at Gold Hill Baptist Church. There is a car park directly opposite the building that is free for the first hour, using the RINGO app, or one of the ticket bay stations – so guests should have easy access to the ceremony. Please arrive a little early to secure a spot, as spaces may fill up.

Kings Chapel, Amersham (Reception)
There is some parking available at Kings Chapel in the back of the venue, but additional parking options are nearby. We recommend using the Amersham public car parks, which are a short walk from the venue. Or trying to secure a spot on the high street. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about specific parking options, and we’ll be happy to help!

Can I RSVP?

Yes! Please fill out the RSVP form available here on our website. We look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

To keep our celebration intimate and personal, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Our wedding will be a mostly adult celebration, but we’re happy to welcome a few little ones, such as infants or young children, from the invited families. Kings Chapel will have a special kids’ menu at the reception, along with games and entertainment to help keep them occupied. However, please note that childcare services will not be provided, so we encourage parents to plan accordingly. Let us know if you have any questions, and we’ll be glad to help!
